The Coordinating Committee for the Scientific Forum at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, under the patronage of the College Vice Dean and in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit, organized an introductory meeting for the Student Scientific Forum on September 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
Preparations for the event included an extensive week-long promotional campaign featuring digital screen announcements, motivational posters displayed across the college, and brief introductory talks—lasting no more than ten minutes—delivered at the beginning of lectures in all departments in coordination with department supervisors. Members of the Student Council also attended the meeting to encourage their peers to participate.
The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a presentation by the College Scientific Forum Coordinator. She outlined the forum’s themes, participation guidelines, eligibility criteria, and available awards. Students’ questions were thoroughly addressed, after which the forum coordinators elaborated on each theme, explained the registration process, and presented potential project ideas.
The meeting concluded with a tour of the thematic booths, where students and faculty members interacted with the corner coordinators, who provided detailed responses to inquiries related to each theme.
