The College of Applied Medical Sciences at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the Community Responsibility Unit, collaborated in organizing a series of breast cancer awareness events during the month of October. The initiative was carried out in coordination with several university colleges (female section), including the College of Engineering, the College of Science and Humanities, the College of Education in Al-Dilam, and the College of Business Administration.
The events aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and to promote preventive health concepts among female students through awareness booths, educational lectures, and interactive visual presentations delivered by faculty members and student volunteers from the college.This initiative comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to serve the community and promote health awareness, in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives to enhance quality of life and prevent diseases.
At the conclusion of the events, the college expressed its appreciation to the participating colleges for their initiative in hosting such awareness activities, and extended its gratitude to the student volunteer teams for their outstanding efforts and active contribution to the success of this campaign.
